too good to be true?
If an extra 20hp, with noticeable performance improvement and without compromising reliability/longevity of the engine, were as easy as plugging in a chip for a few hundred bucks, one would think DC would equip ALL yet-to-be built cars with such a mod, AND offer a DC warrantied kit to retrofit cars already sold. Overnight they'd sell 2781 of the things (or however many cars have been sold to date). Especially given the one constant rap against the car by all reviewers is the low hp. 235 hp sounds better, and at least puts it above the TT and right there with the RX8.
Guess I'm just cynical. Anxious to hook up with Rob in Va sometime soon to see how he likes his chip. The techncial explanations herein that question the overall safety of these things is troubling. The explanations SOUND credible, but I certainly have no knowledge to judge their veracity one way or another.
