I think that's true, you guys, those who have said if you like the traditional sports cars, then you'll probably like the wood, if you like the high tech sports cars then you probably won't. I happen to like the old Jags and MG's, one of my favorites was the MG GT6, the fastback, and that had this yellow maple that aged well.
Anyway, the Cross has that old sports car dash to it, that old Porsche instrument cluster, and to me the way it sits, the Cross' interior looks uninspiring. Not in a bad way, but a not quite finished look of old and new. I mean, I really didn't care for the silver paint on the stack, to me it was just blah, reminiscemnt of aluminum, but not. and the plastic panel looked like leather but weren't. in fact, the first time my son saw it, and he tends to be a bit of an Asperger's personality, said," man, they sure liked plastic in here, and not a good grade of it either". Well, it's not that bad, but it's not that wonderful either for a 40K sprts car. I really like this car, best and most fun car I've had in 30 years, but it's just a car, and if you like it however you add to it, or if you're an absolute purist at heart-so be it. if I didn't tyhink it went well with my car, trust me, I would have ripped it out in a heartbeat as a bad decision. But I do think it worked, and I'm happy with it.
