Default Re: Opinions about retro aftermarket rims?

I am probably one of a few that do not like the OEM rims on the Crossfire, though I DO like the SRT rims.

I have been thinking about changing rims for a while, and will probably do so when I need to get a new set of tires. I am not a fan of the 'wire rims', more due to the fact that those things are a ^%^&)(*%^ to clean. I do, however, like the older, retro (okay, muscle-car-type) rims.

My husband's '69 Camaro has the American Racing Baja rims (link: http://www.amazon.com/American-Racin...1559488&sr=1-7) - Sorry; still am having a hard time adding pictures), and I have a set of Ameroican Racing Outlaw I - unfortunately, they're 14" (they were supposed to go on my '70 240Z, but I had to sell the car 2 years ago) http://www.amazon.com/American-Racin...1559458&sr=1-2).

I like how the rims on my husband's car seem to curve in from the car's wide (italian, like my hubby) hips, and feel IMHO, that something like this might also look good for the XF with the possible and major exception that I don't think that the rims would 'fit' with the shorter sidewalls of the XF tires.

I'm far from an expert, and since I doubt I could even find a staggered set that will fit the XF, it's all still in my imagination.
