When I started looking for my Limited coupe, I looked at many, and found an alabaster at a dealer in Fairfax, VA. It was a bit of a drive from where I lived, and had mostly been in E-Mail contact with the salesman. Finally decided to make the trip, deposit in hand hoping to drive it home. Get there; it looks great. Start it up and it didnt start all too smoothly and had a raspy knock/ticking sound. When I inquired about what was up with the engine note, He responds by going thru the whole Benz ancestry thing (that I already knew like a book) and explains the noise by saying that is from the Kompressor Engine. Yeah, Okay. It was a hostile car ride back home.
