For those of you not familiar with that component, the Storage Bin Replacement is an ABS ,single cavity-mold injected plastic part with no grain that may cost around a buck to produce and sits in the hole left by the useless cup holder….so Chrysler can charge you 52 usd. In my book that’s overpriced.

On top of that when you present your points to the parts manager:

a) It should have been a recall, the original part was ill-designed (did they run an FMEA on that thing????)
b) Since it is not, make it reasonably priced
c) I waited for it a week….
d) Don’t mind paying for an accessory (400$ for cargo net), but I do about ill engineered parts….
e) My last 3 vehicles have been Chryslers...

He tells you that it is what it is, since you order it you pay it (no cancellations now) and HAVE a nice day with a smirk.

Know what…..this attitude has a name, and it’s called arrogance…..
I've had my cupholder for 3 years now. It's not broken and I use it everyday to hold my mug and slurpees just fine. I know others have had problems, but none here.

BTW, you ordered it without knowing the price? Shame on you!
