It is a completely non professional job, a 9 volt battery, a seal a meal (I kid you not) bag sealed led strip (from crossfirefrank in yellow) with the help of some E6000 glue, those 3M stick and pull strips, a battery connection from RadioShack and some phone wire. Harbor Freight had similar led strips last summer red and blue for under $10 which would work. If you end up getting one or something like it I can take pictures to show how I did it. No drill holes or permanent anything done.
There is clearance when the wing is closed for the led strip. It is on the whole time as I used a toggle switch for the on and off. Ideally you would wire it so that when the wing went up it came on. Also when you used the brake have it come on too.
