Do you realize how very hard it must be for anyone to ask for help! It is humbling to say the least. When we are in need, I know we should consider asking family first, but family is often very judgmental and often hold money over your head, you'd Never hear the end of it.
I think it is great that he felt comfortable enough with the Crossfire group to ask. We are all on this planet together, we in the group share a common interest. We don't hesitate to spend $8 - $10 to see a movie or $50 on dinner or even give a homeless person a dollar or two. So give the man a break, at least he is trying to keep the thing we all adore so much.
