Correct me if I am wrong, but the reason that 99% of informed people (well, me at least) that WANT an elise (and a used one is like $30K so many of us here could afford it if we truely WANTED it) but never get one is becuase they notoriously do not have functional air conditioning. Owning one besides using it as a track car, a few glorious days a year, or in some Heaven-on-Earth local would be pretty miserable from what I have been led to believe.
