if youre talking about producing more with bolt on then yes most forced induction cars will be able to produce more for less money.
but **** buy a 2000 z28 mod it a little bit lets say on the high side you just spend 20K... or buy a 03 evo and mod that to make it as fast as the z28... you might have just spent wayyy more to make hte same power as the 2000 z28....
its hard to say it will always be cheaper.
did any one think about power to weight ratio or gearing... who know this thing might walk on a stock srt-6 pretty bad in 3rd gear... you never know. dyno pulls wont tell all.
I might be picking up a proven 10 second 2001 Z28 6sp(heads, cam, N20+more) now that my SRT is gone.

Ls1's can make serious power NA with a few bolt-ons, but it's a V8 of course.
And yes, like I said dyno numbers don't win races. Maybe someone could issue a friendly challenge on the 370 forum to settle this debate.
