Re: IC Pump Failure
I finally got my baby back today, 15 days after taking it in for service. They replaced the IC Pump and the drivers bottom seat heater. I took it for a long drive after picking it up and it does indeed appear to be fixed. The long delay was due to a parts availability issue with the Bosch IC Pump.
The car was returned in perfect condition. The seat heater repair was also completed and the seat cover appears to have been carefully installed, as it looks as it did originally (a relief given some of the horror stories I've read about).
I also learned that, despite being a 2005, my 3/36,000 warranty runs until May 27th, 2010. I had thought the car was originally sold in 2006, but it looks like it was 2007. An extended warranty then covers me until 2013.
So there you have it. Courtesy Chrysler in Thorndale, PA can competently repair an SRT-6 and does indeed staff a Crossfire Certified tech.
