If you got cone you use cone if you got ball studs you use ball studs to get a proper fit.

Example I used close nuts on one of my cars and in mid track the whole wheel came off, all nuts stripped out at once and off the wheel went kablooie. If it is not right it is not safe............

you are right ,,the store where i get them has the cone in stock,,(because most aftremarket wheels are cone) the ones i have ordered are the ball.jim
