You are right... the fact that the price of these cars dropped is not good because it allows them to be treated like garbage and run in to the ground a lot sooner. However, that will also make them more rare over time.
The truth is the car owner can do whatever they want to the car... who am I to say anything. I am not a mechanic. I don't know if Nitrous is safe. I was told it wasn't safe and common sense tells me it isn't. If someone wants to take the risk of getting an extra 75 horses for kicks at the risk of destroying their car, go ahead!
you should have seen what we were doing to 428 Cobra Jet Mustangs, Hemi Cuda's and Challengers, Z28's and SS Camaro's in the mid to late seventies! Once the values sky rocketed they all end up getting restored. I am planning of buying an SRT roadster one of these days which I will not touch, but my '04 will be personalized the way I want which isn't to hurt the car at all. It will be very OEM to the eye but improved in every way mechanically.
