Re: crossfire dissed!
Well I think others have posted that article. Here is what I can tell you about what people in general think of our cars I work at a building with about 500 people in it and have gotten about 25 compliments of nice looking car 2 or 3 of it's the best looking car on the lot and a few I really love your car. Since I work at a Credit Union it's about 80% women so what two tons of fun says really makes little difference. Even though the car is unique there is still alot of people who liked it and would have liked to buy one but it was to expensive or not practical for them. Next time your in a parking lot with more thne 50 cars look around and tell me which one catches your eye....it will probably be the one you drove in. The car handles well, brakes well will last most likely well into the high 100k mark.
The knock on our cars was that they were over priced and the base and limited did not perform like the cheaper 350z and Mustang GT in the Straight line. We as a community have been fixing the straight line issue and were getting the cars cheap now so we have alot more to tinker with. Nice thing for the 2004 guys is anything we do we can later down the road swap to an a low mileage 2007-08 and transfer our stuff over.
*Edit* SRT's you have no idea how rare your car is already try searching for them for sale or can you count the last time you have ever seen one on the road other then a Crossfire meet? I've been hunting for them in California one of the most largest populated states in the US and there is about 3 in a 500 hundred mile radius from San Diego. BMW M3 about 100+, 350z 400+'S, Mustang GT 400+, Porsche Boxster 200+.
