Hmmm........ I don't know. Looking at an original from the same angle it looks like all they did was take off all the chrome, including on the side vents. The "eyebrows" over the wheel arches and the side vents themselves really aren't all that different. Of course, the Miata-esque nose is simply the result of deleting the bumpers, grille pieces, etc. Otherwise the shapes of all the openings are pretty spot on.

Overall though, no argument from me that the original is the better looking car. It's hard to improve on perfection, and this is one of the most beautiful and iconic sports cars of all time.
