True guys but even I know of some Z's that have dropped their guts nat aspirated - problem? Rod integrity - or lack thereof.

Yes IMO 9 psi is a fair bit of boost to put thru a std engiine - the compressive loads are quite high with an engine that has static comp of 10.5:1. You can only go so far with tuning - mechnical integrity will not be improved with good tuning....only the safety margin/power output will increase or decrease with tuning.

I priced a new, complete 3.2 shortblock - $2100.00. If you order aftermarket rods/pisotns and leave out the factory pistons/rings and rods......it will be cheaper.

Mains studs, head studs, forged pistons and h beam rods....way to go.

Looking into the feasibilty.....
