Ok guys here is my problem. As some know my wife bought my beloved Crossfire for me while i was deployed in Iraq. I called chrysler to see about transferring the warranty to me. They told me I have to find the previous owner and get her to sign off on the transfer at the dealership she bought the car at in 2004. Factory Warranty?
- 3/36 transfers automatically. But a call to Chrysler notifying change of owner will get you all the mailings.
- The drivetrain warranty (7/70 or whatever) requires a payment of $50 to $150 and can only be done within 30 of purchase.
- Extended warranty policies vary.
(2008 lifetime warranty not transferable - not that this applies
)
