I haven't owned a rag top in 30 years. It used to be considered a good idea to leave the header unlocked if the car was sitting for a while to minimize stretching. Like in the garage over a winter period with nasty, salty roads. Is this not necessary or even recommended to do this with out modern fabric tops?
