Default Re: Ford $80 dollar IC Pump?

if you look inside the old bosch pump when its replaced you will see burnt windings. this is the cause of the failure. it doesnt matter how long the car has sat. it isnt a matter of will the bosch pump its WHEN the pump will fail. a cm30 pump is 149$ shipped from apeusa.com and takes about 20 min to install. remove the old plug from the bosch pump and solder it to the cm30. drill 1 hole in the original mount position and use the cm30 clamp to install. fill and your done. now you dont have to worry about when your pump fails. add a larger h/e and watch your iat's drop like a rock!
