ok, so you will probably get flamed bad for asking this... so I'll just say this...before you ask the next question that comes to mind...use the search function and see if it has been previously discussed.
with regards to your question there has been some failed attempts at supercharging the N/A motor in the Limited. However, I think the cast engine can not withstand the forces of anything over about 6psi leaving you wanting a heck of a lot more power and nowhere to go.
The computer is a completely separate issue and a big deal.
If you really want a supercharger, then the best solution is buying an SRT.

turbocharging the crossfire has been tossed around for quite some time now...but all to no success... you can't just slap on a turbo on the crossfires and expect magic...good luck with your endeavours, but i personally don't think it is a smart option.
