montana brought up a good point that I didn't mention regarding extra weight. I personally rounded up 3,500 to include my weight, gas, and small tool box in the back. My problem is that in order to test it and not get the cops called on me, or pulled over, I need to drive 20-30minutes away out into the sticks. NY cops have been relentless with tickets lately, my girlfriend knows first hand. 2 in 2 months.

Has anyone tried a different "correction factor" other than the factory 1.0, and proved the results?
