Re: quick question about steering lock
I read through that post a couple of weeks ago. The new cylinder will come with a warranty. It is a very good write up, but too much for me to get into. When I called chrysler switching out the cylinder was their answer. If It doesn't fix the problem, I'll take it right back. MB wouldn't even quote me a price, because they go by VIN numbers, and it would show that it was for a chrysler. Had I tried my other key, which wouldn't operate the keyless entry, I could have probably avoided this. Some how it decided to reprogram it's self, and now works. I will definately keep the steering lock in mind, if and when the cylinder gets sticky again. Chris
