Sorry about getting hung up on the RUF but that's what you were comparing the SRT6 to in your original post.
I didn't know what a Porsche RUF was then but I do now, $216,000. Nice compare.

I don't even think it is a fair compare between the Porsche Carrera and the SRT6. Are you saying that these two cars are in the same price category?

I think your point is that you can go out there and buy a used 2-3 year old something and it can perform better than the new SRT6. Sure, that can apply to anything on the road.
There are some people that would like to buy a new car, like the ride and added performance of the Xfire and the track performance is not all that important. Give those people a break, please.
However, I do agree with you about the 6speed vs Autotran choice. The SRT6 should have come with a 6speed.
