I could have gone either way and thought about it, it is such a massive core that the heat is rejected well. I figured for the effort and more welding that one pass was fine, and there is the added benefit of less flow restriction, but that is way down in the noise compared to the resistance of the stocker. Id have to say that I cant see a clear benny one way or the other, some might go for the hoses on the passenger side, I went for what seemed least complecated and still trying to increase flow; reduce path length and restriction: friction.
