Let me know if you find someone, I'll gladly turn in my carbon fiber. I do remember those dashes from back in the 60's. I read something about how they are done. I'll see if I can find the article. I would imagine the aluminum dash kit and a dremel tool would do the trick. And yes a steady hand and a very, very long weekend.
