For what it's worth Dan regularly embarasses or annoys most of us. I would suggest that you ignore him, most of us do. I take your comments as being a fair and honest appraisal of the car you drove. There are a couple of points though that I'd like to touch on.

I am not sure about the SRT version but the vanilla versions are internally speed/rev. limited for some breakin period. Did your buddy put a couple k on the odometer before this test? While I don't expect it to be able to run with the really big dogs I did expect it to give a fair account of itself in regards to accelleration.

I was also surprised by the comments on the brakes. Every review that I have seen may use words like vague and numb in describing the brakes but the numbers posted are always good. And I have never heard any talk of fading. In fact the reviews say the opposite. Before I would believe that there is a fading problem with all of them I would think that perhaps this is a problem unique to this one.

While my skill level is probably not on a par with yours, and my ride does not operate at the speeds that your does, my track day proved to be fun. I thought it was sure footed and well mannered and the brakes never failed to serve.
