I worried about this and still do on occasion. I've heard others that are quieter and some that are louder. Mine is more pronounced on the driver's side. There is also a little black canister just off of the driver's side wheel well that is used for emissions. It ticks also which adds to the rest of the noisy engine. Our SRTs are hand assembled too, so i'm not too concerned.
