I've noticed a small amount of valve lifter noise, which tends to go away after the engine warms up and oil circulates. There also was another post about a solenoid or some such on the engine that clicks. I think it was part of the emissions system. It's a heck of a lot quieter than my 63 Buick or 82 Jeep engines!!
