Most of us still carry 40 hour plus a week jobs and have family or personal committments, while GTG's are fun and good fellowship I don't understand what sticks in everyone's craw about this. (Well they don't communicate) It's voluntary after all......and should someone who has not attended in a while and booted from the club would like to show up for a GTG they probably won't....... It's not something I'm comfortable with, but I'll live with everyone's decision. It seems to me at this point in life I tend to do alot more work arounds than when I was somewhat younger and I can work around this one !!! I'm done now....where's my meds ???
I'm sorry you as well as others wasn't there when the vote was taken. As it is voluntary to show up, it still comes down to this, everyone can find an excuse not to show up for one reason or another. After all I'm just a volunteer and I do. I know not everyone can make it to a GTG all the time. Missing five or more in a row or not responding to CTC posts and pms, some don't even bother to log on to find out what the CTC is doing is a bit much. I think I've covered all there needs to be covered. I knew there would be some heat but I guess I may have to start on meds or maybe I just won't show up at the GTGs for five or more times in a row to be removed from the CTC roster. You know, I wouldn't do that to my fellow members, because I respect them to much and I don't want to show any disrespect by not socializing with them or ignoring them. I only do it once a month anyway.
