We did two exhaust installs this weekend and are confident we are happy with a design we want to move forward with.
First, it will not be a cat back, but a dual exhaust. Basically it will be a weld in system that replaces from the rear cats back with true dual exhaust. This will allow for the best combination of price and performance.
The reason we went this route is because we realized the majority of the cost of an exhaust is in the muffler and tips. By extending the pipes a little longer the cost isn't effected in a drastic way.
We've installed this exhaust on both the SRT6 and the NA, and other then the brackets for mounting being slightly different, everything fits up perfect.
- 2.5" T409 SS piping
- 2 piece V-banded system
- Dual Mufflers
- Polished Oval Tips
- Option to remove or keep rear mufflers
Our price point is aiming to be below 999.00 shipped, but I'm hoping if we can get a better break on the supplies we can do 800.00 shipped.
If we get a GB going I can deffinately hit the 800.00 price point.
The pics below are showing it as a fully welded system onto the stock pipes before the rear cats. We have another option for tips and mufflers. The muffler in the pic is a straight through dual in/out set up.
