Hood is steel. I had paintless dent removal done on my 93 RX7. Steel has a memory aluminum does not. Back when I had mine done the guy said he cannot do aluminum for that reason. Anyway, I had fenders, doors hood and hatch done. Probably about 60-70 small dents. I was charged $300.00
