If you get caught going 50 k/h (32 mph) over
any posted the limit here in Ontario your car is towed away, your driving license is suspended for a week, you have to pay the towing and pound fees and still face a few thousand dollar fine and possible license suspension if your record warrants it.
Its called racing up here and with innocent people killed by these drivers, there is not much sympathy for them. If they kill themselves we think it is sad but sooner them than us.
With a posted top speed of 100 kph (62 mph) and an unwritten max of 120 kph (75 mph) on restricted access highways, we get many impounded cars each day.
