Is everyone aware that this route is over 200 miles long? Driving on side roads just the driving time will be well over four hours and not much time of socialicing. I am going with the majority, but I think the route should be cut a few miles (than again I'm thinking about myself coming from Dallas which is my choosing

)
You know I have had this feeling also. 4 hours just drive time after San Marcos, plus socializing time. I mapped out my course and it is almost 500 miles and 12 hours.
If it starts getting late I will probably cut out after Camp Verde. It all depends on time. I want to socialize over lunch and at the store, and I figure if I have to cut out Camp Verde it will give me the best part of the GTG and still get me home at a decent hour. If it isn't late I will stay in for the whole thing.
BTW, have we decided where we are eating in Blanco? Same as March or a new place?
I am coming no matter what, but I wanted to announce that I may have to cut a little short.
