Perhaps it is a european thing... but to me... I like the idea of driving a 'very american' car - looks so different to all the others.
The merc convertibles here (and everywhere I suspect ) are driven mostly by women of a certain age who shop and 'do lunch'... so why attach yourself to that crowd ?
Don't get me wrong, I was pleased to find out that the mechanics are solid and reliable - but that's just it - they are solid and reliable... and duuullll.

Umm...maybe because OUR cars are powered by MB. Just saying...If you don't want like MB why have our car? If you gonna call it "duuulll" then why have it? You should love what you have, and have what you love. All these comments talking trash about our cars...well they just really confuse me. I've worked hard for my car and I love it. ....just sayin
