Actually, long before Harry and the Hendersons, Dan Gurney used his helmet to create what is now referred to as the "Gurney Bubble" on the GT 40 Ford he was driving. (Or so the story goes).

Never thought about it working in a Crossfire coupe, (but then I'm only 6'2", and don't need it).
