Default Re: What is the rubbing?

Thanks guys.

Jfire, I appreciate the help! I had the clicking, but quickly removed the rear lugs and trimmed them about 1/4 of an inch. The clicking went away. Unfortunately, I can't get a sound clip of the sound because it's too faint. It's a constant sound, much like tire noise, but more worrisome sounding. It honestly sounds like brakes rubbing. I put the car on the lift the other day and the fronts rolled smoothly as did the rears (of course not as easily due to the differential). The front wheels have clearance all the way around albeit very minimal. I can't see any rubbing marks accept for a few "bumps" from some hard turns. This rubbing sound is a constant sound. I'm willing to bet that the rear emergency brake is just barely touching.Probably not the bearings because it didn't happen until after the lowering and new wheels. Hmmmm
