This is the last photo I took of my dad on May 4th, 2002
I took this pic of him standing on the steps of the school he attended in Chicago in 8th grade.
We spent the whole day revisiting his childhood neighborhood in Chicago.
I have always called this the "Wave goodbye pic"
He passed away 5 weeks later peacefully at home with no known illness.
It was said that he passed away from a cardiac related condition.
He was doing what he enjoyed most.....
watching the Cubs game on TV and doing the crossword puzzle
