Would still like to know more about the Hankook Ventus V12 Evo K110 first reviews are very positive (no shipping fee and a rebate out now)

The Generals you are looking at sound like they might have a bit of a hard compound for spirited driving.
There are benefits to a light tire but may not be the best for a car with no spare. I doubt it is light due to Kevlar use.
