I would go with the General's in a heartbeat, particularly if you are looking for a comfortable, smooth ride.

The General's are rated #2 in comfort, just behind the Bridgestone RE760 Sports. Both are a fairly inexpensive tire with good tread wear ratings. I put on the Bridgestones, and it feels like I'm driving a much larger, heavier car ... makes the OEM Contis feel like pencil erasers.
