Default Re: A little help from my friends. (Part Deux)

To all that were sympathetic/kind enough to answer my query, (especially to patpur), I say thank you. I've received enough info to at least know that somewhere out there in Insurance Land, there may be a new insurance company for me. In explanation,.....Just turned 70 in May, and figured along with "senior discounts", etc., I'd get a better price, (or at least maintain my good rates) on my car insurance.
Surprise! The criminal bastards raised the rates anywhere from 45 to 60 bucks on each car, and that's just enough to REALLY **** ME OFF!
My agent said that it was nothing personal, but just the policy of the company. (My own personal policy is to not accept exploitation lightly).
So, I guess the moral of the story is, when you've finally made it and feel like you've got the world by the *****, along comes the big Seven-Oh and the insurance companies have their way with you, probably because they feel you're too feeble to do anything about it.
They say that old age is not for sissies, so all of you out there that are old enough to remember when milk came in glass bottles should get ready for a very ugly surprise.
