Question Hey Guys! Newbie here with some thoughts/questions!

Hello, I just registered here after having viewed the forums for a while as a guest. I am a young guy who is deciding on what his first car should be. I have always loved the Crossfire, since its conception in 2004. Now that I have finally come of age to get my own car, I obviously considered the Crossfire. After looking at used Corvettes, used Cadillac XLRs, the 2010 Camaro, and other sportscars. For whatever reason, I still have some attraction to the Crossfire, so I looked and found one that is the perfect one for me. It is a brand new 2008 Limited Coupe in Blaze Red. It is the 6 speed manual and has the premium 2 tone leather. I am trying to put the deal together with my dad, who is helping me pay for half of it, as well as the dealer on a price. If it comes together, should I go through with it? I know you all are die-hard Crossfire fans, which I appreciate, but is it honestly a good, reliable, and functional sports car. I understand that it is not cheap to maintain, but it supposedly comes with a lifetime powertrain warranty, and 36000mi bumper to bumper. Does it have any common problems? I assumed since it is a 2008 that the problems would have been worked out, but i am still cautious. How easy is it to get parts for it? Is there anything I should be aware of before getting myself into trouble with it? Also, I have rode in one before, and noticed how horrible the rear visibility was; how much does that affect your driving it? Any other thoughts are gladly appreciated. Thanks!
