What is all of that stuff you guys carry along? Are you preparing for the Zombie Invasion? End of the world?

I travel on a 200-mile stretch of highway that reaches some high elevations. A good part of it is remote and desolate. If something goes wrong with the car (like a flat tire for example), it could take a while for somebody to come (assuming my tire repair supplies don't solve my problem).
In the winter it can be very cold out there.
In the event of an accident, it's really nice to have a trauma first aid kit, extra lights, and things like that.
Jumper cables are just common sense (ones with 4-gauge wires the minimum requirement).
Touch up detailing supplies - a big white splat of bird leavings really screws up the look.
Then there's the spare radar detector parts...
I never ceases to amaze me how invulnerable people think they are the minute they get into a car, and how helpless they become when something goes wrong in a place where civilization isn't there to save the day.
