Ok so i just got back from the dealership and the damage to the wallet is $1,033 for 4 new tires and alignment plus shop fees (w.e they are). For some reason the Crossfire alignment is $100 more and takes 2 hours to do (not assuming that I need the camber bolts). I decided to just bring it to the dealership, beacuse after I buy the new tires, if i still have the vibrations and rubbing noises they know that they did the work on my car. Had I have brought it to the tire place and still had the same problems, the dealership would have pointed the finger and probably would have told me i should have brought it there. So to avoid more headahes and damaged wallets

That price seems a wee bit high but certainly not out of the ballpark for all 4. I'm assuming you stuck with the Conti's?
Actually, I kinda agree with your thinking though I would've shied away from the dealership. You just KNOW you'll end up paying more
but you're probably right about the pissing contest you'd have been in between the tire dudes & the dealership. Sometimes avoiding the inevitable friction is worth a few extra bucks!
