The attention of a car 3x the price
I've had people shout across parking lots, "Nice car!" "Awesome car!" "Very cool car!" I've been approached with all sorts of questions at the gas pump. Most recently, I was asked by a young man who brought our food to the car, "How much did you pay for this car, about 100-thousand?" It's fun to see the look on their face when I tell them how much (or how little) they cost.
Since the Crossfire first came out, I have been baffled by the lack of interest in it (based on sales). I'm starting to wonder if the problem is that Chrysler under-priced it. Its exotic styling probably has people assuming it is way out of their price range and so they don't bother to shop for one. Or maybe it's just because it only has two seats. It still has to be one of the best used car bargains on the planet, and one of the most beautiful cars ever made.
