Seems like the smartest way to go to me as well. Lack of knowledge and software led me to do what I did. The total cost my way is under $2k pending what sc or turbo you use if you install and fab everything yourself.LET is supposed to be able to reprogram fo FI. It just takes someone with the motivation to find the details and bring it to the forum. My crossfire is going back to stock and getting traded in soon so it won't be me. My wife needs a SUV. Maybe a ML320.....

why not just skip all this funny bussiness and use the srt6 ECu, the v8 converion thread seemed to have succesfully transplanted a v8 into a v6 benz. this seems like the way to go assumingthe NA's eprom can be transferred into srt6 ecu so the car recognizes the vin code.
