Default Re: NW Super Cooler installed (radiator fan running more often now???)

I have not separated the coolant- however I do have the mod that Rob sells. I didn't do it because I knew it would be messy. I thought- "maybe another time". lol

Now I'm assuming that because the fan is running more often my engine is actually running hotter- is this true? Will this cause any problems?!

My knowledge is so elementary when it comes to this stuff- please excuse my ignorance: If the radiator helps cool the engine- what does the Super Cooler cool- the SC?

Finally, Woody, regarding this "stat" you are mentioning. Is it a modified Thermostat? Similar to the one Chris is running (simply has a hole drilled in it or something?). How easy is it to install? How can I get it?

Mainly my concern is that I'll be doing damage to the engine driving around in the heat. I'm not used to the fan running so often. At every stop light it would kick on!
