A mechanic is trying to tell me that a mouse has been chewing on the wires of my SRT roadster and he pulled up a handful of multi color fibers to prove it. Has anybody else seen some fibers that look like carpet fibers packed in the cable tray that runs from the control panel under the passengers feet under the passenger seat?

It looks like they used some fibers to keep the cables from rattling .
