I had to pay my first and only speeding ticket (78 in a 65, IIRC) Minnesota is very strict about its speeding rules, there's no way to have a continuation and there's no such thing as "Traffic School".

At first I was worried about insurance rates, etc, but once I computed just how many billable hours I could get for the cost of the speeding ticket, I ended up paying it anyways.

A year later and my insurance premium still hasn't gone up.

Immediately after I got my ticket, I bought a Valentine One. It was a bit expensive but it beats flying blind any day. I just wish it was legal in VA!
