pizzaguy, you may have heard something like this, but maybe just the opposite.

I read a lot about the rear window glass separation problem, especially in the hot, un-garaged sunny climes. Driving with the top up and windows down DOES create a lot of flutter in the rear portion of the top, perhaps exacerbating the glass separation issue.

Beats me, but I bet now you're really confused. Relax and enjoy the ride.
