Re: Any experience RACING Honda S-2000's ?
You have the right idea. I want to learn and have fun. If I go to the track it will be for those reasons only. I am not competitive by nature so it spoils my fun when the trash talk and grudge match stuff gets going. Plus, I am really over protective of my car and the idea of approaching a curve fast and hitting the brakes hard at the last second; just doesn't appeal to me. Why should I enter their territory anyway? They have track experience and I don't.
If a S-2000 wants to pull up beside me and give me a run; I will accomodate (briefly) - even at my own risk. Texas is a police state - I have never seen half as many highway patrol anywhere else I have lived. Flordia is second but not a close second. Texas is also swarming with local law enforcement. Even the Constable has multile patrol cars banking on some fool like me. I am not saying I have a constitutional right to speed but it sure is a reminder of excessive government control of our lives.
