Thumbs down broken motor mount = no AC

This is me venting but I am also seeking comments from you guys. My Crossfire started accelerating strangely and then the AC went out (horrible in Arizona). I took it in yesterday and the shop said the motor mount broke and the engine was lifting up enough to hit the hood. This caused movement on the tranny which caused the compressor to break. I believe this because I was getting movement on my automatic shift **** during shifts.

My warantee company, Mercury Insurance, will not cover the cost of the compressor because they said it was consequential damage. I looked at the contract and all parts are covered and the only related exception mentioned is below.

6. IN NO EVENT WILL WE COVER ANY OF THE FOLLOWING:
A. ANY RESULTING OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGE TO A NON-COVERED COMPONENT, OR CAUSED BY, A NON-COVERED COMPONENT;

What do you guys think?

Thanks,
Daniel in AZ
